The Lapidarium - Even stone has its language

The Lapiarium is part of the National Museum and houses many of Czech most valuable stone sculptures from the 11th to the 20th century. In the eight exhibition halls one can admire the original works of famous Czech sculptors among which are the original exemplars of the statues from The Charles Bridge, the sculptures from Loreto Church or statues that once stood in Vysehrad.

In 1995 the Lapidarium in Prague was placed among the 10 most beautiful museum exhibitions in Europe at an International Top 10 competition.
