Camping sites in Prague

Camping sites are situated in quiet places, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet in its close vicinity (about 3 – 6 km from the centre). They remain one of the cheapest ways of accommodation and if you take in mind that they are equipped with all necessary facilities and are also very well connected by public transport to the main tourist attractions, they could really be a good choice. With small exceptions (Aritma Dzban), camp-sites are open only from April to October.

Some of the camping places:

  • Troja (3 km north of the city centre)
  • Aritma Dzban (4 km west of the centre) – open all year
  • Kotva Branik (6 km south of Prague on the banks of the Vltava)
  • Prazacka (great view of Prague from the part of the city called Zizkov) – open from July to Aug, 20 minutes to the centre by tram
